Who is Jesse Lee Peterson?
The only biographcal information I can find on the man is what a wonderfully brave and innovative conservative he is and that he's for hire as a speaker. I get the general impression he's from California somewhere. Nothing on his background, education, how he came up in the world. Anyone know anything about this man who works for Hannity's organization?

2. An opportunistic, hateful bigot.
He, as an African-American, defended William Bennett's remarks. He consistently attacks African-Americans (especially liberal ones) in the guise of "helping" them.

Sadly, he doesn't realize he's defending the same status quo that keeps down African-Americans like him.

3. He was on C-Span early this AM and I watched for a while...
He is apparently from Alabama, according to what he said. As he spoke, it is apparent that he is an apologist for white supremacy and an enabler of black inferiority. He does not believe that blacks make good leaders or politicians. He encourages whites to speak out and to be racist. He thinks this is good for the country.

He was the leader of an all black panel of four others who in various ways were of the same mindset as he...perhaps not quite as full of black inferiority but certainly all four have made a good living as speakers among whites who want to hear blacks denigrate their own race and find fault with liberal black leaders.

The others on the panel included Dr. Shelby Steele (a mulatto who speaks from both sides of the racial divide), two women bloggers, (one from NOLA, who accuses blacks of not showing personal responsibility during the hurricane/flood) and an actor/columnist. I have their names written down in the other room but I am too lazy and they are too unimportant to me to get up and go get them.

The woman panelist from NOLA said her own mother died on the day that she, her daughter and two friends got into a car and evacuated. I couldn't help but wonder if she had abandoned her own mother. She said she returned ten days later and had a funeral for her mother. Evidently, her part of town was not badly damaged.

All five of these people constantly talked about how embarrassed they are by their own race of people and defended nearly to the death such peole as Bill Bennett and of course, thei God, Lord and Master, George Bush. IMHO, they are pathetic, yet quite well-to-do sell outs.

Like Rice and Powell, thse are peole who dare not show their faces even among their own families for their awkward positions, but they have put money and career ahead of everything else.

to make the decision to flick the remote to another channel! I believe it was sponsored in part by the Heritage Foundation an ober-conservative organization with deep rightwingnut money pockets.

10. Yes, he was the one at the podium and I watched for at least an hour..
I was struck by the fact that he has wild-man eyes and resembles pics of Beezelbub quite a bit, missing only the horns.(That is a personal aside and quite off-topic).

Peterson is a Clarence Thomas-type, of the mindset that "white folks know best and darkies should jes' shet up and sit down." He continually referred to how embarrassed he is by black behavior.

Dr. Steele continually referred to the fact that blacks cause most crime and are penal residents by far greater numbers than are whites. He conveniently skipped over the part that blacks are arrested and convicted of even menial crimes by far greater degree than are whites.

All in all, it was a panel convened by some whites at the Heritage Fdn who wished to hear some inferiority-infused, self-hating blacks denigrate themselves and their communities.

If you noticed there were not more than fifty people present in the audience and most were older white-haired males.

4. he's an LA 'preacher' that NO one pays any attention to. He's hateful, has
no church, has no fans and generally just whores up to the gop.

He's not brave, he's not innovative, he just yell real loud and says things that the gop applauds, that's IT.

12. BushCo is giving money to "Faith-based" organizations so what
better way toget some of that dough than to crown one's self with the title of "Reverend?" Take a couple of trips to NOLA and back home to Alabama and claim spiritual help and career counseling and put in an invoice for some money from FEMA and from Bush.

I've read the complaint from that link previously, but right not it seems as if the entire judicial watch site is down. :(

8. He's a favorite of the Freepers
They love to quote him. He's usually one of the 30 or 40 people who show up at those massive Free Republic rallies in DC. He speaks at their group-hates and functions much like Rice and Powell do -- to make wingnuts look less racist than they really are. They consider him a 'good ni**er'.

13. Hard to imagine the amount of self-loathing there.
The "good Christian" man's whole gig seems to be launching hateful personal attacks on others.
We need to go after these bs organizations for their 501c3 status.
