Uhg Help Me, Diebold Taking Over my City

Well not really, but we got pamphlets in the mail telling us the city was getting electronic voting machines. I checked the little trademark symbol on the phamplet and sure enough. Diebold. I'm thinking of printing out some articles/studies/etc and taking them down to city hall. We are a small town of 10,000, so my voice can be heard =D


Anyone got any good links they might suggest to print up or quote?

I think VerifiedVoting.org has a downloadable PDF.

The other important thing to consider is that you need to get your information to the people who actually make the decisions. If you just "go in through the front door" it might not get there.

Find out who is buying them. In my town, it's the County Commissioners, not the city. Get your info directly to them.

Sadly, if they've already bought them, it's probably too late.

They told us to google the name of the machine followed by problems and print out the pages and pages of the history.

What small town are you? Involve others in that precinct. Protest big time. Write LTE's and protest on main street. Make lots of noice and let others know it's not a republican/democrat issue it's a DEMOCRATIC issue.

seems its the entire county. the website that the flyer points to is butler county website.

Makes things a bit more difficult.

Rofl just had a tinfoil hat moment.. kept hearing the house rattle.. went outside.. and a huge black helicopter, no markings or anything, circle over the neighborhood. not 1 marking on it anywhere.. just a dull non-gloss black
