Many of us get dismayed at our present leadership and political direction. However can we share what we are doing about it? Are we writing letters and to whom? Are we marching? Are we pounding on our legislators doors? Are we having any results? If there are positive stories or otherwise to tell, I would appreciate it. It might be food for thought for the rest of us. Dick Gregory noted that if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.
This is an appeal to learn and to have some encouragement. I am all ears on everyone's behalf.

The worst thing we can do is be obnoxious loud mouths. That works against us in so many ways. I've taken to have intelligent (as much as they can be...haha) discussions about issues to try and make people see our side of things.
Bashing Bush on this forum is fine (and fun), but I don't do it when having discussions with friends about politics. To me, it's counter productive as once you do it, it turns off anyone you try to talk to.
