Mommy Are We There Yet? When Are The Indictments Coming? |
|
Can they come on a Sunday or does it have to be during the weekday according to EST?
I am afraid to leave my computer because I don't want to miss it!
Can someone give me a time frame?
Thanks!

3. Daddy how long is 6 or seven miles? I need to go to the bathroom |
|
That is how I feel.
Isn't there a website that will alert you when something breaks? MSNBC?

7. LOL @ those miles! Can we do a google alert? |
|
I tried to do a google alert but wanted to make sure I had the right words.
I set it up for..." Indictments handed down for Fitzgerald"
The problems with that is I could be getting lots of alerts based on those words. How do I make it more specific?

21. I would think that there would be a news conference. |
|
We will know in advance of when the conference will be. All the MSM will be non-stop with their legal analysts leading up to the time of the conference. We will probably have a couple of hour notice. I am just guessing here. We will see.

10. I think the indictments are "handed down" by the Grand Jury |
|
so it would have to be when the courts are open on the East Coast since this is a DC jury, but it could probably be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, here in Baltimore sometimes the juries will go past 4:00 pm

8. Since the GJ only meets m-w-f, I would expect them on |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-16-05 05:14 PM by EST
Thurs or Fri, during business hours.
Edit to add: Also he needs a little cushion, in case of complications, with the gj ending on the twenty-eighth, I'd expect this week, thurs-fri. Don't worry, no chance you'll miss it.

9. This Wednesday Or Friday..... |
|
Unless Fitzgerald were to ask for and receive an extension, indictments will be issued This Week, on either Wednesday or Friday.
The Grand Jury is set to expire on Friday October 28. It has been noted that in a case of this magnitude, the prosecutor would be extra careful not to let the clock run out before getting a quorum to vote for the indictments. My reasoning is that it would therefore be unwise for him to indict during the last 2 days of the GJ.
That leaves This Week, on either Wednesday or Friday. Were he to get an extension, that would also be known this week.

19. There could be some indictments that have already been handed |
|
up but are sealed. I believe it is the judge who decides when to unseal them.

12. I have actually been dreaming about indictments! |
|
How sad is that. Last week I dreamed that Rove was indicted-saw it on Yahoo News and was soooo happy. Then I woke up and really expected it to happen that day! I was really disappointed. My boyfriend thinks my dreams are lame (even though he hates KR too).

13. Calm down, It was the night before Fitzmas and all through the house .... |
|
DU was all a twitter .... We are going to get that louse.
The 22 indictments were wrapped and under the tree some for Karl, some for Libby and some surprises for you and me.
Rove was trying to settle in with Gannon for some sex and a nap but his brain was burdened ..... treason is a serious rap.
And down the hall was a man called Libby he left voice mail after voice mail to his boss, "Please help me you made me tell that Fibby."
And you know who was drinking and praying "Please God, Daddy, my Saudi friends .... when this comes out, in this job I am not staying."
Merry Fitzmas to all and to all a good night.

20. Isn't it the jurors who decide. I would imagine that the prosecutor asks |
|
them for indictments. Then as I recall the indictments are handed up to the judge. It is the judge who decides when to make them public although I am sure he discusses this with the prosecutor.

The indictments will never happen. The assholes will get away with it and strut around for the next 30 years.
