Read this only if you want to have a sickening feeling. |

I just realized that, no matter what happens during the next 3 years, George W. Bush will still receive a thunderous ovation when he appears at the 2008 Republican convention.

Smile. I am sure Rove's successor will find it politically approppo to have Bush speak quietly at a small breakfast for Freepers very far away from the Convention Center and far away from the national cameras.

6. That might be when they decide to martyr him. |
|
 There's no way they can afford to have him running around loose as an 'ex-President' without all the handlers and narcissist supply-sidlers.

I can't wish anyone harm, I just can't, as tempting as it is. But your wish I can do, Metta. I think I would also say, see AND suffer the consequences of their evil deeds in my lifetime. Thanks, Metta!!

But again, I am an optimist - He may have been impeeched and removed by then, and or serving time at Guatnamo.

14. No convention applause if * resigns in disgrace. Nixon was radioactive |
|
Nixon was radioactive for years. He never was fully rehabilitated enough to address a convention, despite having won a real landslide for a second term and not the slim faux majority Shrub got.

Of course, the convention will be at the Motel 6 in Fresno, with Gannon, G. Gordon Liddy and 298 other loons in attencdance. The applause tracts and media coverage should be impressive, though.

Let him have the ovation. I don't care cuz he will finally be gone. And always remember, his legacy will be one of corruption and ineptitude. History will record he lied to get us into an immoral and illegal war.
