Former Secretary of State Colin Powell will be appearing at 8 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 17, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium as a guest of "the
Distinguished Speaker” Series of Southern California. But for what
distinction — his role in orchestrating the illegal and immoral
invasion of Iraq based on lies?
AN OUTRAGE - NOT A DISTINCTION!
Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles must demand answers from Powell for
his role in the Iraq War.

That he later left the administration and publically "regretted" his
pitiful UN performance does not make up for the fact that it help
foist an unwanted war on the world.

We must demand that Powell go beyond comfortably pulling his support
for the war and start joining efforts to stop the war! As an ex-Bush
official, Colin Powell, can’t just apologize — he has to help rectify
his wrong.
