17. Both the Daily News and Newsday have been good on this story
The Daily News is a tabloid, to be sure, but they have real news, and were actually better at covering New York politics than the New York Times all through the 1980's (their coverage of the Donald Mannes parking bureau scandal was stellar). It's not at all on the level of the New York Post, if that's what you're asking.

28. This could explain the DU thread last week
in which James Carville was looking a bit haggard. He must be terrified right now. It was trumpeted on that other website that MM was planning on resigning from the White House three years ago and it didn't happen.

Whatever she might be, it's hard for me to believe that he would still be with a woman who wasn't a good mother. I'm sure the moms here would agree -- they would do ANYTHING for those babies. I can't believe she'd think it preferable to protect the jackals in the White House and spend the next however many odd years visiting with her babies in the prison visitation area.

left CNN...and has been the BIG Source for Fitz. But this might be something New from Raw Story. Someone who has recently flipped after Novak spilled the beans. Maybe it IS Ari...he was on AF-1 when the infamous "Memo" with "top secret" Plame was flagged yet it was "passes around."

26. It could be any number of people.
Think about how disgruntled the CIA has been with this administration. Just imagine how they have been grinding their axes, waiting to see how things shake down.

It could be more than 1 person. Think of that lunatic Cambone, or the Fundie Wild-eyed freak General Boykin. It may be not somebody sympathetic to our cause, either. It could be some Fundie who feels that Bush has let them down, or he's not moving fast enough to get this country back to the 12th century.

It could be 2 people, working together. Maybe somebody like Steven Hadley, or anybody who has been slighted by these people.

That means LOTS OF PEOPLE. A small army of them.

Keep it up, whoever you are.

35. I'm getting tired of this BAIT AND SWITCH
thing that RawStory has going one here at the DU.. they don't even post RawStory in the Title of the thread anymore..

and is this like the Third thread with the same subject and a RawStory link slapped on it..

Anyone else getting a little pissed about that? I refuse to go to their site (and I gave them every chance) since they started playing Trojan Horse with the threads..

They are MAKING MONEY by just funneling people to their site and once you get there it's from ANOTHER NEWS SOURCE.

Stop it. Get some real SCOOPS, you have before and THEN I will come to your site and click on all your sponsors, but Come ON, what RawStory is doing is less than credible..

When Takebackthemedia.com says, "We have a great new Flash political ad on our site" you don't get a link to TBTM and then a BushFlash piece of work..

You are not going to beat the right by EMULATING THEM. We don't need another fake Drudge, we need a Good solid site that is basically a Yahoo for Liberals and Progressives..

48. Buzzflash has MORE than headlines
and you know when you get there that it's a link site, they don't claim those stories to be THEIRS.

They also Interview INCREDIBLE folks on the Progressive side, and a LOT of other things there, they work HARD for Liberals, etc..

Seen any Ads there? You won't, if anything it's someone or something they want to bring attention to.. they take donations so they DON'T have to advertise - our site has One Popunder and that's IT..

The last thing you want to do if you are fighting the media with truth is to Sell Out, or post nonstories and conjecture as fact..

Drudge is a DUMBASS, why would anyone want to imitate HIM?

I posted this story and am not at all affiliated with rawstory, though i do visit that site frequently.

It would have been nice to include "rawstory" in the subject line but i ran out of space and wanted as much of the potentially juicy details in that as possible.

I don't think this is a dupe of another thread.

52. It's been rumored for over a year that John Hannah flipped. Early in
the investigation the FBI/DOJ was apparently putting the heat on him to turn him. Hannah worked for Cheney and was the liasion with the INC (Chalabi) for intel on Iraq. (You know, the kind of crap our Ms. Miller shoveled up with regularity and made its way into the Administrations "facts" about Iraq?)

Maybe some one else also has "assisted the investigation" which certainly would gladden one's heart, but Hannah's been at least one possible candidate as a source for Fitz since spring 2004. Let's hope for many, many more.

They endorsed bush in November. That shows you what kind of people run that paper.

Having said that...... they are WAY better than the Post and I do believe there is a leak. Powell or Mrs. Carville.

bush is going DOWN! His lies have finally caught up with him.

Too bad the media treats a hummer more seriously than TREASON. This story should be covered like a missing white girl!
