Rove to quit if indicted
Karl Rove plans to resign as President Bush's senior adviser if he is indicted in the CIA leak case.

Time Magazine reports White House officials say Rove and I. Lewis Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff -- both at the center of the federal investigation -- will resign to minimize damage to the administration.

Both Rove and Libby have testified before a grand jury investigating who leaked the name of CIA agent Valerie Wilson -- also known by her maiden name Valerie Plame -- to the press.

Former ambassador Joseph Wilson was an outspoken critic of Bush's assertions on Saddam Hussein's quest for weapons of mass destruction. He says the leak of his wife's name was an attack on him.

3. Not that I wouldn't like to see this, but look at the source
This is from UPI which is owned by the Moonies. Not exactly credible.

7. Ah! OK, thanks!
Thanks for the info. That's good to know, and oddly enough makes me feel better. I'd really like to see these bozos go down.

Incidentally, it kind of looks like UPI was cribbing the Time Magazine story. They seem remarkably similar.

8. I didn't realize Haliburton's president quit so Rove could take the job
Thats the only reason he would quit - If he can't manipulate problems and hire select companies to fix said problems, then he will stop being the middleman and run one of the said companies. Where are all the politically active snipers these days?
