"The Torture Question"
Oct. 18, 2005 at 9pm
FRONTLINE goes behind closed doors to investigate the struggle over how and when to use what was called "coercive interrogation." The film begins with a policy born out of fear and anger and tracks the increasingly tough measures taken to gather information about Al Qaeda and the growing insurgency in Iraq. This examination begins at the White House and ends in the public debate about alleged abuses at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Abu Ghraib. (more)

4. This program is showing tonight on my PBS station and I intend
to watch. Frontline does some of the best documentaries, IMO. They provide very thorough coverage of a subject from various points of view without using the sensationalism commonly displayed by the major networks.

so I can watch Commander in Chief at 9 and fantasize about a good president, then watch this at 10.

Frontline does some excellent programming.

7. Yes, they do a geat job of objective reporting
Their comparison of the 2004 presidential candidates was excellent. It should have been required viewing for anyone registered to vote.
