CNN: "President Bush's approval numbers in a 'bit of a slump.'"
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 08:41 AM by Lex
So says the female talking head on CNN. LOL!

Then she went on to mumble quickly that his approval is at 39%, an all time low for him.

" . . . a bit of a slump . . . "

Is that editorializing or what? Minimizing at the least. CNN makes me laugh.

2. Yeah, CNN is always good for a laugh. And Faux news might be, too...
I can't say 'cause I never watch it. Hard for me to watch any MSM anymore. Thank God for DU and The Daily Show!

4. Yeah, exactly!
If Karl Rove is indicted, I guess CNN will say Rove has "encountered a minor legal snag."

5. Oh Yea, and if she had reported on some historical events
On the 1929 Stock Market Crash... "a bit of a business slowdown"

On the 1906 San Fran earthquake.... "a bit of ground movement"

On the Johnstown Flood.... "a bit of dampness"

On the Battle of Little Bighorn.... "a bit of a setback for our boys in blue"

On the sinking of the Titantic.... "a bit of treading water"

7. what I don't understand
is why these news people sell out so much for this administration? They have kids and parents who need our government to be strong. What are they getting from protecting these freaks? They hardly make enough money to be safe from this administration. IMHO I think the middle class will soon be people making a million a year. This time in our country will pass and when it does, what are their kids going to think of them? Thanks mom for caring more about a freak cowboy than me and my future.

8. It's just "second term blues" according to Bill "AEI" Schneider
Oh, Bill dear, what were Clinton's approvals in HIS second term? While facing impeachment?

Second term blues my ass. Scandal and corruption blues is more like it.

9. "Second term blues" according to Bill Schneider on CNN
earlier this morining. Makes it sound like the Shrub administration has a cold -- forget that they're incompetent, unethical, dangerous, and a pack of liars.

On edit: I went to their CNN page. She was on between 9 and 10 and it wasn't Soledad O'Brien.

17. Sounds like that idiot Costello.
Back when we had a big ice storm up here, with thousands of people without power for days during the middle of winter, she had the gall to say that the storm was no big deal because not many people live in Maine when it's not summer.

If dubby slumps any more the true believers will begin to have doubts. Poor lockstep fools. :freak:
