DUers got under Neal "no sense of decency" Boortz's skin!!!
Blowhard Neal Boortz is ragging on DU on air right now, whining about the rude treatment he's been receiving from DUers since he said that in disasters, the rich should be saved before the poor. (Sounds a little bit like genocide, Neal.) Here's a man who makes a living by being rude--he calls himself "America's Rude Awakening" (stolen from a DJ named Ruud, btw)--crying foul because DUers don't treat him like the snivelling baby he is.

Wouldn't it be fun to call Boortz, Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly et al and simply ask, "Have you no sense of decency, sir?" That would put them right in their places--the contemporary equivalents of Joe McCarthy.

This morning Boortz posted these thoughts on his website:

"I'm actually quite happy that my comments on Friday afternoon have stirred the puddin' this way.. As you know, I'm writing a book named "Somebody's Gotta Say It." There will be a chapter in that book on hatred for the rich and one dealing with the manner in which we in this country enable the poor, much like a doting husband enables his alcoholic wife. The emails to me and my search of the postings on that wonderful Democraticunderground.com website and others have given me an absolute treasure trove of goodies to use in that book...

"The greatest anti-poverty program ever conceived in the mind of man has been capitalism. No economic system in the history of civilized man has lifted more people out of abject poverty and created a general standard of living that even approaches that brought about by free people interacting freely with one another in a system based on private property rights and economic liberty. Dive into democraticunderground.com or other leftist websites, however, and you'll see constant slams on capitalism and free enterprise and deep praise for government-controlled economies and socialism..."

Poor little Neal Boortz--he loves to dish it out, but he can't take it!

3. What a crybaby!
Typical neocon MO: dish out crap--including injustice and torture--but cry at the slightest word.

Weenies.

5. Oh Neal
no one is enabling the poor to do anything, that's the problem, and partly why they are poor. How about expanding welfare to the level received by corporations? How about leaving Medicaid alone so the poor may have access to health care while struggling to get out of poverty? How about expanding public transportation so the poor may have a ride to work when the old beater breaks down? How about expanding access to quality child care so the poor don't have to worry about losing their jobs when their child care arrangements break down?

How else can he search posts? Well, if that's the case. Thanks Neal! Your donation is being put to good use to get the truth out about this mis-administration and their enablers!

10. Remember the 13-year-old Hawaiian surfer girl who lost her arm
in a shark attack? Her name is Bethany Hamilton.
On his show, Boortz went off on her, calling her "stupid," "inarticulate," "shark food," and joking that she'd "never be a typist."
And now he's whining about DUers using dirty words (like "motherfucker," oh my!) to describe him?
Boortz is a professional asshole. The fact that he got rich being one is an indictment of our declining culture.
Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly etc... are very good at what they do--but what they do is no good.

11. Neal, you pseudointellectual pompous dumbass,
how can capitalism be "the greatest anti-poverty program" when a person doesn't have any capital?? I know, I know, a poor person could squeeze out, say, $10 a week or something out of his paycheck and save for years and years--when he's about 75 he should have a few thousand to set up a hotdog wagon or something, right? (that's assuming no major illnesses or other emergencies have come up that caused him to have to raid that savings account--of course these things never happen, do they? :sarcasm: -- )

also, let's get back to your other dumbass statements: that people with "a stake" in government policies, those who "benefit" from them (like students and "the poor," the examples you used) shouldn't even get to vote because of the "bias" they have for "handouts." But Neal, what about CEOs of big greedy socially unconscious corporations that benefit at every turn by government subsidies and gargantuan programs of corporate welfare. Why should they be allowed to vote? These orginal Welfare Queens, who benefit by legislation affecting regulation, wages, et al., are the ones who should be barred from voting!

And women--you have said more than once that women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Not sure of your rationale on this one--only that you are a selfish, short-sighted, incredibly dumb and now seemingly pretty desperate complete loser who is threatened by anything remotely resembling progress, "the common good," or any kind of social safety net. By your criteria, only rich males should vote!! (and I suspect you really REALLY would make that only rich WHITE males if you could get away with it, wouldn't you? after all, those pesky black folks are known to be "poor" and also to get a lot of "handouts").

Why don't you eat shit and die you blowhard gas bag?
As far as I can tell you have absolutely NO socially redeeming value.

By the way, "pilot," how many folks did YOU rescue from New Orleans with your plane? We on the left have HERO Al Gore, who at his own expense chartered a jet and rescued more than a hundred folks from a hospital. All you guys have is ZERO--the Great Pretender GWBush and the rest of the corrupt scum you seem to admire so much with their phony bullshit about "limited government."
