Judy Miller's Sh*t-Eating Ear-to-Ear Grin makes my Blood Boil
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 01:44 PM by Stevendsmith
It's my own fault for being a cable "news" junkie, but every time they play the footage of her leaving the courthouse with that huge smile on her face, it drives me batshit.

What the hell is she smiling about? She appears gleeful.

She is a disgrace to her profession and a treasonous criminal.

God, I despise her!

2. From Raw Story..Times reporter entangled in leak case ......

had unusual relationship with military, Iraqi group

Jason Leopold
Embattled New York Times reporter Judith Miller acted as a “middleman” between an American military unit and the Iraqi National Congress while she was embedded with the U.S. armed forces searching for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in April 2003, and “took custody” of Saddam Hussein’s son-in-law, one of 55 most wanted Iraqis, RAW STORY has found.

Moreover, in one of the most highly unusual arrangements between a news organization and the Department of Defense, Miller sat in on the initial debriefing of Jamal Sultan Tikriti, according to a June 25, 2003 article published in the Washington Post.

21. she could be back in prison. no one knows what fitzpatrick is on to.
however, what else can she do? she has staked a position for herself as Judy of Arc and she's playing her role. she's never been genuine in her life and I am sure she's used her femaleness and her simpering grin to advance her own agenda her whole life. I also believe that none of them think they are subject to the same laws we are. Rove and Libby are probably still reeling over people talking. I believe they thought the reporters would never talk. Her own employers could never make her obey and show obedience. She believes she's god. she's going to find out she isn't, the hack.

4. I knew NYT was a cheap tawdry lie sheet
Did anybody ever listen? Noooooooooo.

The Jayson Blair debacle made me madder than Miller, though.

13. who is Jayson Blair to cause anger?
sure, he wrote some fiction, but much more insidious and malevolent liars like Joseph Perkins and William Safire and Tony Snow etc. etc. etc. write lies and shill for the rich and powerful all the time and they are never called on it, at least not by anybody who can hurt their careers.

29. Yeah, but
I never expected lies in the NYT, and for the top editor to clean up for him and put a spin on the deal. It gets so you don't trust any media anymore.

How do I get around it? I watch FOX News Channel.
Why?

They always parrot the RNC party line.
It's not what they say, it's what they don't say.
Reverse the FNL spin, and you have a close approximation of what's really going on.

30. you never expected lies?
William Safire wrote in the NYT. Is it okay for an opinion column to be full of untruths? Why can't opinion columns be honest, educated, and informed rather than propaganda or kicking up dust?

You need to read the DailyHowler. MoDo and the Times reporting were heavily involved in the war on Gore. Their sins are much larger than Jayson Blair which was a gnat made into a dragon while they ignore the elephant in the room.

5. Because to her it's all a joke
100'000's of Iraqis killed, 2000 US Troops KIA, 10,000's more injured and disabled for life... and this witch thinks it's all so funny. Don't worry she won't be laughing for much longer. May all the aspens rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Judy is facing some serious jail time. Fitz had no need to make a deal with her to get the info he was seeking.

NOW what will I do for a hobby?
I'll believe she does serious jail
time when I see it. Seems to me there is always a deal to be made.

26. Big problem for Judy
is that she doesn't know when to stop lying and that doesn't go over well with a Grand Jury.

Even in her own article on Sunday she couldn't keep her own story straight.

22. Think of it like a pro wrestling match
She's the heel, strutting and bellowing in the middle of the ring, totally oblivious to the fact that the Irish Assassin is sneaking up on her from behind, about to drop her with a steel folding chair.

I don't know why, but it seems to help me.

23. I hate the I'm-so-cute hair tossing -- she thinks she's mega all-that...
because of her connections to important people. Trouble is those important people are scoundrels and criminals, and used her to start a war based on pure greed (and one man's desire to prove that his d**k was bigger than his Daddy's). What the hell is she so proud of? She's a disgrace to her profession, and to the once-proud American institution she works for. She should hide that beaming face, in shame.

Thanks, Steven, for an opportunity to vent.
