A customer bashes WalMart

I work for a pest control company (all Blue, btw-even the boss, who wants to tar and feather Bush), and from time to time customers come in to pay their bills. That just happened. As she left, she told me to never shop Wal-Mart, and told about the goods sold there being made by sweatshops and slave labor. I told her about the sexual discrimination lawsuit and she told me about Wal-Mart's hiring policies.

Might not sound like anything that special, but this is northwest Arkansas. The part that is supposed to be the reddest of the red. The HOME AREA of Wal-Mart.

When folks around here are saying boycott Wal-Mart, something is changing!

In fact, you are reading much more into it than one incident will support.

Go to a WM, and look how full the parking lot is. That should bring you back to reality.

and the reality is that there aren't as many cars there as there used to be. I go by the place about once a week, so I think I am being a good judge of what is happening here. Don't know about other towns, only the one where I work.
