I'm listening to Tweety and want to puke. News Clowns!
First, Tweety and Andrea Mitchell are commenting on something they were involved in.

Second, they keep saying how "murky" it is, how "odd" it all is, how "tangled" everything is.

Third, Cheney per Pat Buchanan and David Gergen "would never do anything criminal"...

It's sickening. Half the people here in DU who have been following this thing know more than these clowns.

We're now hearing about an "internal fight between the CIA" that these news clowns never told us about at the time.

And they're acting like Joe Wilson was some kind of CIA tool that was being used as a cat's paw against Cheney. Idiots.

1. Do. Not. Watch. Hairball.
It's a complete waste of time. Tweety and his dingbat guests are as useless as cold diarrhea in a Dixie cup; and you'll gather no important information and just give yourself an ulcer.

5. You're right, ocelot...
This is sickening. I don't think any thinking person could get anything worthwhile from this. Which says something about the state of American journalism today. We're reduced to a nation of sheep forced fed pap by a bevy of lazy semi-politicized "journalists" that substitute biased opinion and conjecture for facts.

I just want someone to give me facts. I'll draw my own conclusions.

2. Fucking twits and this is why Mathews needs to be replaced
with an actual journalist. Buchanan values loyalty to the executive branch over everything else, he is nothing more than a Nixon recycled bot, much like Liddy. They all should have been convicted the first time around, which is why presidential pardons must be stopped.

4. TV isn't interested in journalists - only talking heads. Would that we
could get YOU there!

3. They know. They've known for TWO YEARS. They chose to NOT tell their
audiences filled with voters about the traitors lying to them every day during an election year.

They choose now to cover their own asses by acting confused by the whole story.

Hey, 'Hardball' is not ever going to be the cable TV version of DU.

I thought Gergen and Buchanan offered fairly lame defenses of Cheney ... they know something is up.

And, frankly it is true that from what we know now, this case is murky. There is something very ominously odd about what Fitzgerald is up to ... and I mean ominous for Bush and Cheney.

Enjoy the squirming and the heat ... I'm loving the build up to hopefully the end of Bush.

8. Andrea Mitchell twisted truth saying Joe Wilson claimed Cheney sent him
Andrea Mitchell said a couple of times that Joe Wilson claimed Cheney sent him to Niger. She was stridently and blatantly twisting around the story to defend Cheney and the leakers and try to justify them discrediting Wilson. Wilson said that Cheney wanted CIA to look into Saddam obtaining yellowcake from Niger and that CIA sent Wilson. I don't ever remember Wilson claiming that Cheney directly sent him the way Andrea Mitchell claims, but he claimed his trip came about as a result of Cheney wanting CIA to pursue the Niger angle.

12. Guys like cheney have skirted along the edges of ethics and legality
for their whole god damned careers. Once and a while they slip up and go too far. As may have happened here.
