Hannity's new meme: "Old Media" vs. "New Media" |
|
Kinda like "Old Europe" etc.
As if something new is going to be better or improved, the Asshat-in-Chief is flogging the idea that the "New Media" (of which he and other RW radio liars, bloggers and floggers are a part) are replacing the "Old Media" (he's changed the name from "liberal".)
I suppose the tired old concepts of journalistic independence, multiple sources and challenging the powers that be are no longer as important as cheerleading for the administration.
What he really means by "New Media" is neo-propaganda.

2. Exactly. A perfect example. In the old days a journalist might pose as a |
|
male prostitute or some such thing to get on the inside (so to speak) of a story. Now we've got a male prostitute posing as a journalist in order to further a political agenda. Jeebus.
