"Are you voting for conviction or acquital?" (Caller to Sam Sedar) |
|
OK, so some Repug called into Majority Report a little while ago, and asked Sam Sedar in reference to Sadaam Hussein "are you voting for conviction or acquital?"
Sam was funny as all get out, and told the caller that he (Sam) had actually called the 1-800 number on American Idol to vote for Sadaam.
Then Sam got serious, and shut the caller up when he said actually he was hoping for a conviction, so everything Sadaam did in the 80's (including getting weapons from the U.S.) would come out!!
He was great!

1. I heard that. But I would have answered slightly differently. |

I would have said that as I wasn't on the jury, nor in the court room, and given that all accused are innocent until proven guilty, it didn't matter what I thought. It was up to the prosecution to prove their case, not for the accused to prove their innocence. Or so I have been led to believe is what your constitution says.
