2. they were fishing for a crime & hoping the find it with WW. They found
a few people who were sorry - but not the Clintons. They knew Clenis had a problem with his clenis - so they set up a net and hoped to scoop up things. They heard about a "Paula" - since she didn't file a complaint (her job was not affected she just naively went to some man's room on her break) they had to find a way to lure her into it - and they expected much more dirt in other places than they found. Just Monica - who was forced to testify even though neither she nor Bill were complaining. So the crime they god Bill on took place 3 years or was it 5? into the investigation.

This is different. Outing a CIA agent to cover up lies about going to war.. is quite another type of event.

3. I know, and I've thought about that. Are we "wishfull thinking"?
I don't think so. I have tried very hard to be unbiased in my assessment. Ken Starr was hired to FIND SOMETHING! Fitz was assigned to investigate IF potential crimes were committed.

I honestly don't remember what the media response was during the Clinton investigations. Oh, I remember many talking heads explaining more about sex than I really wanted to hear, but I don't mean that. I can't remember if all the media were predicting indictments too?
