Rob Corddry on "this week with god" was a riot |
|
The other day someone here was wondering how it was gonna be without Steven Corbet but it was hilarious. Stapling the yarmulke was the final touch

4. I skipped Colbert show after the first night |
|
because.... I do not watch any of the Faux programs and did not exactly get it.
But right now I watched the video of Lesley Stahl and I wish that I did watch her. She is my favorite reporter. And she started by saying that Tim Russert wanted an "R" shaped desk, just like Colbert's "C."
Looks like reporters, like authors on the Daily Show, are lining up to appear on these program. They found out that getting a book mentioned on the Daily Show does give it a bounce. Seriously.

10. Watching the Colbert Report is like eating a whole box of Godiva at once |
|
It's too much of a wonderful thing. I adore Colbert but I really do have a "can't believe I ate the whole thing" feeling afterwards.

5. Much better than the first time he did it. |
|
Colbert is wrestling with having more material than he can recite without a teleprompter, but he's still funny. He'll pick up better flow eventually. Same goes for David Spade's show. Lot of verbal missteps. But still delivers the laughs, if you are mean-spirited enough to appreciate the humor.
Things are sure looking up for Comedy Central.

6. Yeah, Colbert certainly has a challenge in keep up the pace he's |
|
setting. He talks non-stop for half an hour; must be like putting on a short play everyday.
