Had they ignored J Wilson would it have been this bad? |
|
Would Shrub co be in this laughable mess if they had simply ignored Joe Wilson's original editorial about the Yellow Cake?
Or what if they had dismissed him without trying the smear tactics, would it have backfired like it has?
At the time, the media was championing Shrub as the Greatest Leader in the History of the world and I'm sure they would have gladly ignored Wilson if Shrub Co had done so as well.

He had neither accurate facts nor intelligence but he damn well wanted Iraqi oil. He could care less about those Americans he condemned to death or the Iraqi innocents.
His fight on Iraqi innocents equal the genocide on American Indians.

3. Did Don Corleone ignore people who called him a liar? |

Bush & Cheney & Rove are an extremely vengeful bunch. The Bush family is well known for not forgetting a slight, no matter how small.

5. They had smooth sailing - the U.S. media was all for 'em & the war |

Any time 1 "critic" of the impending Iraq invasion was shown, there must have been 20 pro-war types either on simultaneously or immediately afterwards.
They had everything goin their way. They just couldn't let Joe Wilson alone, huh? Had to mess with his family, huh? Traitorous idiots.

American people, and everyone else. They were, are, and will be evil until they are dissuaded of the PNAC plan. I suggest you look up PNAC and blivet, though I'll help you with the latter: 10 # of shit in a 1# bag, or close.

8. The Plame outing was not special to them. |
|
They avenge anyone who disagrees with them, is independent or embarrasses them. Think Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neil, Kerry, Dean, etc. Anyone they view as an opponent, they tear down in any way they can. And they cover up everything and keep everything secret. What is more they aggressively use every dirty trick they can think of.
They don't mind the fines, and they have always been willing to sacrifice some underling when their machinations have come to light. This crew, including Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush Senior, Rove, Matalin, et al. have always operated in that fashion. This is merely the first time they are being personally embarrassed by their tactics. I use the word "embarrassed" because we still don't know whether they will be charged with crimes or whether justice will be done. Thus far, they are just being embarrassed a bit. But the Plame matter is just their modus operandi. I know of no Democrats who use these kinds of dirty tricks so frequently and so flagrantly as the Bush crowd. There have been corrupt Democrats, but I have never heard of Democrats sinking so low so often.
