How would Russert give it to Libby? Am I following that? How
would Tim Russert know this info before Libby? That doesn't make sense.

2. Libby claimed this
before. Russert testified that he was not Libby's source. Libby's camp is desperate. See my thread detailing how Rove squealed on Libby.

3. It's pass the buck time
They are all squirming. It is possible that Rove told Timmy or that Cheney or Powell did. Who knows except maybe Fitz. Wait and see, the show is just about to start.

12. I owe Kurtz an email. He laments how the credibility of the media
is suffering because of their seeming closeness with the WH. I still have the video of Kurtz and Whore Blitzer whoring it up on CNN when Jeff Gannon was exposed.

16. Howard Kurtz is now boo-hooing about the lost credibility of the media
because of their seeming closeness to the White House?????

Funny, that never seemed to bother him much, before. NOBODY'S been a bigger whore than he. Well, except for judy miller, chris matthews, tim russert, katie couric, wolf blitzer, judy woodruff, paula zahn, john king, kelly wallace, norah o'donnell, andrea mitchell, candy crowley, ALL the Pox "news" people, rita cosby, john stossel... :grr:

19. In the same breath that he's lamenting the press's credibility problem
because of their closeness to the White House, he adds to his own credibility problem by spreading misinformation that helps the White House. Brilliant.

11. Note: (important)
"NBC News Washington bureau chief Tim Russert spoke with Fitzgerald under oath in August about a call from Libby, who gave Russert clearance to testify about their talk. Russert says he told Fitzgerald that he was not Libby's source."

10. I think little Timmy is just getting the blame
in the hopes that he won't stand up for himself. The more the neocons attempt to find a scapegoat, the more information Fitz gets.
Good job libby and GFY cheney!

15. BushInc can THANK Timmy, though. He runs all NBC news and chose to NOT
allow any real discussion of the facts behind the Plame case, though they all KNEW Rove outed Plame for TWO YEARS.

Instead they allowed their audiences filled with voters to hear GOP operatives smear Wilson as a partisan campaign hack working for Kerry who was lying just to bring down a very popular president. No one at NBC news countered with the facts.

17. That is the sad tale of all of the MSM
They are trained to always skirt the issues. Like on C-spn when a caller tries to tell about PNAC etc, the moderators always play uninformed and after 5 years have not had the intellectual curiosity to find out. Well actually many know, but they play dumb because it pleases dubco.
