Did Ronnie Earle "bully" the Grand Jury?
Well, that is what Delay is charging. Somehow, he and his men must have gotten to or bought off one or two members of the GJ to claim that they were "bullied" into indicting Delay. I put NOTHING past this man - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

I give Earle credit, he is going to make Delay come in for fingerprinting and mug shots today I think. No matter what ever happens after this, this is an experience Delay will never forget!

2. Real smart...
NOT!

What Delay hopes to gain from bashing Earle is beyond me.
Why pour gasoline on the fire?

4. bulk of the indictments came from the second grand jury
that had only been seated for a day or a week. Not much time to "Bully" them. As per the timing of the second grand jury moving on things the first hadn't? The timing of acting for Earle was pushed forward by DeLay and his Lawyer who started trying for motions to throw out due to time limit per crime vs being charged. In short - deLay's own legal team pushed the whole thing into a higher speed hand down of indictments - imo.

5. I wonder how soon before he steps into the libel cesspool?
And this is Earle's payback. DeLIAR could have just shut up, but this is so embarassing his hair must be on fire.

6. I think Deguerin already has acknowledged he has no evidence of that
but he threw it in anyway.

7. Delay whines about imagined bullying. Can you spell projection?
Another Whiney Republican -- a totally lame and limp part of the Republican Culture of Corruption.

8. Again, I say this man is a REAL piece of work
My GOD! To who ought we compare Tom DeLoser? A child in the toy aisle who has been told to "put the toy back?" A teenager who has just been grounded for carousing past kerfew? Rush Limbaugh on an OxyContin bender? I guess the real comparison is to a loud-mouthed U.S. representative who got caught with his hand in the political cookie jar and head up his ass.

9. Delay has never done an honest thing in his life... he is a capo
in a crime syndicate and i would take what he says with a grain of salt...i don't know earle, but looking at his history, it seems to me that he is not a political hack. delay is a criminal and I dare anyone to prove otherwise, including himself.

10. Pretty risky tactic
If the charges are dismissed as baseless (which I highly suspect they are), Delay's public image has just sunk a little lower.

11. I think you might want to clarify
That you are referring to DeLay's charge of Earle's bullying rather than the charges against DeLay, which it what I think you mean.

13. Delay's attorney has no facts to back claim
This is a pure fishing expedition by Delay's attorney, Dick DeGurin. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/metropolitan/3402899

AUSTIN - U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay's chief lawyer says he has no evidence that Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle participated in grand jury deliberations, despite having made that allegation in motions to dismiss DeLay's indictments.

But Houston attorney Dick DeGuerin said there have been enough public comments by grand jurors in news media reports to raise suspicions that Earle may have violated laws in his efforts to indict one of the most powerful Republican politicians in the nation.

DeGuerin is seeking access to grand jury records to develop possible evidence of misconduct on Earle's part. He has subpoenaed records from two of his assistant district attorneys related to their dealings with three grand juries that investigated DeLay.
