If Harriet cannot adequately complete routine forms... |
|
for the senate, how in the hell is she going to serve as a SCOTUS justice?

2. The same way Bush serves as president or Quayle as VP. The Repubs |

glorify mediocrity and mock accomplishment.

Since they have such a negative opinion of government and those who serve as public servents; there's no reason to put people of accomplishment in those people. Rather why waste a talented person on Government when he or she could be working in the private sector? Bryant check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

3. I also blame this "oversite" on the aides who help prepare her |
|
for the hearings! I thought stuff like form completion would be part of their job too!
It really does look the the whole admin is falling apart! Someone mentioned the gang that couldn't shoot straight. It sure looks likke 'em!

5. But she always uses a spell checker! |

And she works HARD (or maybe she likes the White House better than her condo).
Isn't that ENOUGH?
Sheeeesh.

6. I'm cutting Harriet some slack. Her secretary probably was delegated |
|
this clerical duty and goofed. I've worked in law offices and often seen lawyers who don't do the form things except sign the checks presented. It wouldn't surprise me if the secretary was fired for this innocuous slip-up.

10. not this questionaire. It is serious stuff, lots of questions |
|
and it asks for her opinion on various things. It helps the committee evaluate her.
This was the MOST important task she had before her, and she failed. miserably.

14. but, she still phukked it up. royally. Has she no shame? |
|
No sense of embarrassment? No professionalism? This is her final exam for her seat on the bench.
As Sen. Coates (r) (her babysitter) called it a work in progress, perhaps that term applies to Miers in general.

I mean really, this is total bullshit. She tried, she failed, she is not qualified for the job. Next.

8. I read the form on cspan |
|
mostly it was lazy... she had long lists with "dates not available" before listing things she had been involved in. She could have googled herself and gotten most of this information. just lazy. I say we pass, we've had enough of these vacationing leaders.
Her only cases of interest involved helping a woman who was denied SSI and finding a way for Cheney to run and still receive Texas electoral votes...he's from Wyoming, yeah, right.
However, I do find it interesting that she was on the board for Girls, Inc, the organization the right wing is boycotting American Girl over, because of their "I Can" bracelets, and the sharing of sexual reproduction facts.

Because of Reid's support and her former registration as a Democrat, I was willing to keep an open mind on Meirs. It's obvious now that she's a tool of the right wing and can't think for herself.
