Horrid Union Busting Ad In CA Feature Screeching Freeper Woman
Anybody who listens to the radio here in CA has probably heard these awful ads for LOL "paycheck protection" (ie, defunding the Unions that thank God have been giving Der Governator the fits.)

Every time I hear this ad, I laugh. It features Tom McClintock spouting off a bunch of hooey and some awful freeper woman in the background who's supposedly a teacher (thank GOD not any of my kids' teachers) screeching and whining about "taking our money." What lies -- she can opt out of it if she wants.

Anyhow she sounds so obnoxious that it's kind of funny. Also funny that this seems to be on heavy rotation on lib Air America outlet KTLK here in L.A., none of the listeners voted for Arnie in the first place when he was "popular." Talk about wasting money! Anybody who donated to this farce should be wondering why it plays so often on KTLK.

I KNOW for sure all CA DUers are voting down Arnie's treacherous power grabbing intitiatives, but please don't forget to tell your friends and relatives, offer a voting day ride -- low turnout and apathy are what might make Arnie's schemes our unfortunate reality.

3. I'm Canadian, so I get my vote in by throwing voting parties...
Free top shelf booze and great food, but you have to have voted. I don't care for whom, just vote. I know I'll get my vote in somewhere.

Last year I took the day off and drove eight people to the polls on top of having the party. We lost, but it was still worth it.

4. K8- getting the vote out is going to be key
in Ca and every where else in the coming months and years. Good reminder.

Yea, the negative ads are a hoot- but the anti-union sentiment is amazing. How stupid can people be? Never mind...that is self evident, sadly, voting against self interest has brought the red states some interesting economic problems.

The unions are the only protection for working people when they come up against the collective strength of corporations and management.

10. you've got it - this is Arnie's FAUX election set-up!!!
You realize the truth! DO NOT BE FOOLED! DO NOT!!!

VOTE NO ON ALL OF THIS ARNIE CRAP! ALL OF IT!

That one drug initiative is the biggest fool of the lot! They are BOTH sponsored by the drug companies and the plan is to force Californians to mail order all drugs and if they don't they will have hell to pay in prices!

The mail order drugs are not good - they are generic drugs, many which have been recycled and repackaged. Their shelf life is not very long, less than 1 year!

I have some old Allegra-D that I got while under Merck-Medco 5 years ago and it is still good. Cannot say that about the crap drugs I am forced to buy via the mail order drug system we are FORCED to use!

VOTE NO ON ALL OF THIS FAUX CRAP! ALL OF IT!!! DON'T BE FOOLED CALIFORNIANS!

12. Union member here -- anything Arnie supports, I vote NO!!!
Arnie and the re-thugs hate the unions...they would love for them not to be able to contribute money to candidates they support.

When do we get to vote this m-fer out of office? I can't wait!

13. Dividend and corporate asset protection
This is the other side of the coin.

Whether or not Prop 75 passes -- there are "Dividend and Corporate Asset Protection" propositions in the mill for the Spring 06 and/or Fall 06 elections.

These would protect corporations from criminal prosecution for illegal, Enron-type and Tom DeLay-type and Jack Abramoff-type payoffs. How? By allowing shareholders to sue the officers and directors and hold the officers and directors personally liable to the corporation (and shareholders) for payoffs made with corporate funds. The theory is "wastage of corporate assets."

Just a logical extension of "Sarbanes-Oxley" Boolean ANDED with "Prop 75."

Or - what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
