man, I bet the GOP thugs are jealous of him.

8. So, from the horse's mouth,
Plame had nothing to do with sending her husband to Africa. This meme needs to be spread to all the clowns out there who swear she sent him!
And, 'be very afraid of your government'; Mr. Wilson, thank you for loosening the noose and allowing us to collectively breathe through your actions.
Thanks, Will!

11. It's nothing more than a talking point
and even so, so what? That doesn't mean they can out a CIA agent. That's still treason no matter what. It's a very lame ass excuse.

30. Yes, but "lame ass excuse"=gop
They throw any pathetic clap-trap out there, and unfortunatly, there are far too many who are willing to belive their BS.

9. I'm impressed with Ambassador Wilson and have been from day one
He seems to handle himself real well and he has a lot of respect for others a true class act. What I would like to hear is him consider a run for the presidency, we need a real statesman like him now.

14. The Real Reason They Hate Joe Wilson...
...is simply because he *is* such a class act. He's honest, a bedrock patriot, deeply professional, and a dyed-in-the-wool member of the Reality Community. And all the snarling right-wing attack dogs react to men and women like that as Dracula does to the cross...

16. thanx for posting Will
good interview. Sobering.

Wonder what Joe and Valerie are thinking this week...they've been through hell. It was good to see how much confidence Wilson has in Fitzgerald tho.

Wilson: "the message (to anyone who speaks against Bushco) is that the gov't will destroy you..." The implications for all of us are profound.

I'm SHORT on HEAVY-duty comments today. But I will say that Wilson was a perfect gentlemen when we interviewed him for the CLG.

Here is the link to CLG's interview.

21. Hi there ladies
Edited on Thu Oct-20-05 03:11 PM by EuroObserver
Any chance a, they sometimes tell me somewhat handsome, certainly reality-based, working-class-origin but well-educated and experienced Europe- and internationally-oriented British still-quite-young (like Joe) gentleman would have any chance these days in your hearts and minds and bodies?

Just asking (to repeat a phrase).

Sorry, just a light-hearted joke. Actually, though unmarried and childless I'm also spoken-for these last, uh, 22 years. And have to unfortunately reject plenty of offers.

Go Joe (and Valerie) (and Will) (and DU) (and all you others, you know who)...

O8) O8) O8)

Ah: A very recent high-quality interview with the Wilsons, but in Spanish, (El País, Ernesto Ekaizer): "El fiscal ha pillado el núcleo de la conspiración contra mí y mi esposa en la Casa Blanca"

23. Wilson on "The World According to Bush" was French-fluent & genius IQ....
unstoppable, logical in-the-know, stand up unpaid civil servant.
He and his wife should run for the Presidency.
Unlike *, Wilson had a passport and was highly involved in Africa and Iraq prior to his assignments there.
bush never possessed a passport until after 2000 election!!

29. A career diplomat, the real thing,
semi-retired, isn't he?

Unlike many who get posted as US ambassadors overseas just because they've contributed considerably to campaign funds and otherwise shown themselves adept at arse-licking.

Jeez. Do some people really need to clean house.

My father used to say: to avoid corruption in the bureaucracy, select people well and pay them a very good, guaranteed salary.

Keep up the good work y'all!

and i got to meet him at a small event given by a private donor..he is incredible..a brilliant man..so elegant, and if i must say so myself..extremely handsome!!..( don't tell my hubby!!)....lol...

but he really has this thing nailed!! he is no nonsence..and he is adamant about holding those who outed his wife responsible..but even more than that..he is doing this for our nation...of that i have not one doubt!!

i would vote for him as pres in a heartbeat...speaking of heartbeat....lol......

31. ((ECHO)) and wonder...
if we could talk him into being our candidate? J/K

Just think what they have done to their lives...we could use him for a candidate, but then Valerie would be in danger? Their children, I want justice for them, their lives and security were just tossed to the wind.:nuke:

In my dreams, he IS the perfect man. <sigh>
