healing & understanding needs to go on. If all Iraqis are watching his trial then it is easier for the Sunni regular family to say "ouch! he was as bad as they said - I don't want a part of that - the bathists were creeps". And - many families that were traumatized will have a chance to heal.
A real adult moment for all of them. Acceptance & all that comes with that stage of grieving.
