I don't normally sing praises to any talk show hosts, but... |

...Randi Rhodes yesterday, had a simply magnificent piece on her show, consisting of White House sound bites.
They started from the very buildup before from the invasion of Iraq, with the "he very definitely has weapons of mass destruction", and "we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud" and went slowly through the years (and I can't believe the word "years" is a plural in this case), to the slow final degeneration into denial that they ever said any such thing, and the finger pointing that accompanied it.
There has to be a way to get that compilation out to a broader audience, don't you think? It was the closest thing to an audio work of art I have heard in a long long time.
Good Job Randi...

1. Can someone extract a clip of that? |
|
sounds like it would make a good slide show with images of the assholes involved juxtaposed with the destruction and misery they have caused.

2. Mike Malloy had a similar audio piece a few years ago... |
|
It's called "Wargate"; it includes about 9 minutes of soundbites of the Bush administration leading up to the war in 2003, set to Little Lies by Fleetwood Mac. http://mikemalloy.com/audio/lies.mp3
