Could it be that Arnie knows that if he meets with chim-chim will make things worse for him than it already is? Look what happened to Arnie after he campaigned for the asshole in Ohio and when he shrilled for the idiot at the RNC convention in New York City. Arnie's approval ratings dropped form the mid-sixties to the 32% he is at now. Maybe Arnie has finally learned that he is the Governor of a democratic state and not right wing Texas? Many groups in LA have been trying to find out where the Smirk is having his fundie raiser but no one knew. See this article:

Although Republican politicians rarely pass up the chance to associate themselves with Reagan, an iconic figure among conservatives, Schwarzenegger turned down the invitation from Bush, who is suffering the lowest approval ratings of his presidency.

"We're very busy in our campaigning up and down the state," Schwarzenegger told reporters, and apparently has no plans to join Bush at any other stops during the president's two-day visit.

Schwarzenegger has suffered declining popularity himself amid a furious attack by government unions over his plans for state government reform and had asked Bush to put off his two-day visit -- a request the president rejected.
