Ah, Now it Makes Sense to me Why the Admin is Invading Syria
Edited on Thu Oct-20-05 08:25 PM by berni_mccoy
They want to "find" the WMD there.

I was completely WTF on the post this morning that showed a report that we had actually invaded Syria (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x5110277).

First off, it's illegal (didn't go to Congress despite what anyone says). Second off, we don't have the troops for an invasion like that without seriously compromising EVERYTHING in the middle east.

So WHY? Because the ADMIN is ABOUT TO GO DOWN FOR TREASON. They need to "find" the WMD.

That would explain Freeper posts like this: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x5117963
(I actually do believe admin officials post there... the site is run by a former repub senator)

And it would explain a lot of Rice's testimony in the recent Congressional hearing on Iraq.

This idea crept in while I was reading this post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x5118277

10. The WMDs moved to Syria story was done by Judy Miller and
was promptly and completely debunked.

4. Yep, things are getting scary now...
The more I think about it, the more I believe this scenario is the one that will pan out. Many more soldiers will die because the Bush admin feels they need to cover their asses.

6. Well, I've always feared what FUCKSTICK and his people would
start to do as soon as they were trapped in the corner.

Methinks they are beginning to unfold their "Mutual Assured Destruction Last Ditch Effort".

18. It's more like border skirmishes/incursions... "invasion" is a strong term
for what actually happened.

8. And NOW we have no Brewster Jennings operation
in place to keep them from planting WMDs in Syria for them to find. Same MO, next target..........perfect.

9. * does have the authority. Recall the 9-11 authorization by congress.
* has the authority to go after any one or any government that is or harbors al Qaeda. Period. No time limit. That was one of the reasons they were so desperate to tie Sadam with 9-11. Also, he doesn't need anymore authorization from the UN. He can do anything he wants. And don't forget those nuclear weapons he has at his finger tips.

14. I'll admit I've been really out of the loop lately.
But what the FUCK? We INVADED Syria and no one knew about it? When? With what troops? And why the bloody hell did nothing get leaked about that anywhere? Not even international media?

Not that I'd put anything like that (or really anything at all) past the bushturd administration. But what?

19. Also, we seem to be fighting the enemies of Saudi Arabia,
Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Syria and perhaps Iran. It seems we have become their vassal state and must provide the King with armies of knights when he calls for them.

21. Freeper Fantasy Site is not run by a former repub senator
to my knowledge. It's owned and run by Jim Robinson of Fresno, who was once a democrat, then later was a repuke who hated the hell out of George W. Bush, and who is now according to rumor a recipient of, shall we say, the largesse, of the same George W. Bush.

Robinson is certainly no former senator.
