"Scooter" Libby?

Who is this guy, and why would one of the most powerful people in the world insist on people calling him "Scooter?"

All jokes aside though, I would like to share some information I've gleaned about this laterst target in the CIA Leak probe. Scooter holds three positions in the White House. According to Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack,

"Libby had three formal titles. He was chief of staff to Vice President Cheney; he was also national security advisor to the vice president;and he was finally an assistant to President Bush. It was a trifecta of positions probably never held by a single person. Scooter was a power center unto himself, and, accordingly, a force multiplier for Cheney's agenda and views."
Scooter is also one of the founding members of the Project for the New American Century, one of the least known but most powerful organizations in the world. The PNAC is a neoconservative think-tank who's stated goal is to use our military dominance to provide a secure base for US power projection around the world. Past and current members of PNAC include Dick Cheney, Jeb Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Newt Gingrich as well as less well known people such as, Paul Wolfowitz, Bruce P. Jackson (Former VP of Lockheed Martin, the largest defense corporation in the world), Elliott Abrams (member of National Security Council, President of Ethics in Public policy center. He was convicted of 2 counts of lying to Congress in Iran Contra, but was pardoned by Bush, Sr.) and "Scooter" Libby. PNAC is the organization responsible for planning the Iraq war.

2. Real question may be could Scooter take Karl in a steel cage death match?
Somehow I think they are not getting along so well now, based on everything we've heard. It may be interesting to see who survives (Scooter or Karl) as the real measure of who is in charge in the WH.
