Amusing Letter From Edward Jones Investments on the PAST FIVE YEARS
I got this letter from Doug Hill, managing partner with Edward Jones, included with my statement:

"Investors are facing mixed signals and turmoil. The market has been lackluster for the past five years, we're paying increasingly higher prices at the pump and we've just suffered an incredible blow form hurricane Katrina..."

THE PAST FIVE YEARS, hmmmmmmm, the past five years, hmm, let's see, what has been going on the past five years??? Hmmmm, not to fall for any logical fallacy, but seems an awful big coincidence... The past five years...

But at least we've got a Republican pro-corporate pResident! Not some DEMOCRAT, like Clinton, whose administration coincided with the LARGEST PEACE-TIME ECONOMIC EXPANSION IN HISTORY. Good thing we have a Republican CORPORATIST who has given large-scale corporations everything they've wanted pretty much over the PAST FIVE YEARS.

3. AND their Supreme Court?
The Supreme Court was ENOUGH not to vote for these people in 2000, now what do they think about what they have done five years later? (And a year later?)

4. Bush Proof Strategy
I've done quite well by being heavily invested in international funds and my employer stock. I knew Bush would screw things up royally.
