Was there anything preventing the people from the WH from |
|
planning a strategy for testifying before the GJ?
I've been thinking about that, and how, when police interrogate suspects, they always separate them so they can find discrepancies in their stories.
Why wouldn't Scooter, Rove, Cheney, Rice, and all the others just have coordinated their stories to protect each other?

by doing just that!
I've even heard that the different reporters talked amoung themselves.
Just curious. It seems to me it makes Fitz's job a very difficult one indeed.

2. They certainly have coordinated their stories. |
|
They do that as they go along. This is nothing new for these people.

5. true, if they had all gotten together.......... |
|
........and decided to stick to a story, that would prove conspiracy.
But really, I don't think they did that because they didn't believe they would be prosecuted because of it!! Remember, these people think they can get away with anything without being held accountable. I'm sure they thought no one would try to make them responsible...........

8. The President would make a terrible witness. No credibility. |
|
He can't pronounce things. He'd just confuse and aggititate the jury.
No questions, your honor.

7. Well I think what happened is when the investigation was first |
|
launched by Justice alot of interviews were done. I am sure you read about Ashcroft asking about particular details and finding out that the Feds investigating thought they were being lied to. I am sure this information got fed back to the WH. I think alot of missteps were made in the beginning that they can't go back now and change. Missteps they didn't mind making because they thought they were in control of the outcome.
One thing I have thought about many times is that I wonder if someone was setting Ashcroft up do to exactly what it was that he did. I wonder if phones and homes were bugged and that kind of stuff. Because for Ashcroft to recuse himself after 2 months into the investigation is very strange. He must have been caught doing something. Also at this point the Franklin Aipac investigation and surveillance was in full operation and had been for a while. So there certainly was infrastructure in place to catch Ashcroft obstructing justice.

Projection being pathological among this gang. Playing "Prisoners Dilemma" with these guys is the same scenario every time - they will rat you out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prisoner%27s_Dilemma"Aspens" indeed.

10. Discrepancies are part of everything they say. |
|
If the case for WMD was presented before a GJ, Bush would be charged with several counts of perjury. Same with Rice, Rove and the rest of those @ssholes.
They think changing stories multiple times is A-OK.

11. Fitz apparently has testimony from the early |
|
flippers to compare with the later testimonies, as well as documents and phone records, etc. All I can say is they had better be very careful or what they say will be considered perjury.

12. Looks like they did coordinate their stories, just like they have for |
|
every time they have been caught in disasterous screwups (what they refer to as 'PR problems'). But when you're used to your prosecuter being the team at Fux News, you can't help but get a little overconfident about your ability to spin gold out of straw.
Fitz must have had quite a laugh when he saw what a crock they were trying to put over on him!
Having one or two insiders who were fed up with the BS feeding him tips was probably just icing on the cake.
Bye bye bushies . . . couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of BASTARDS!
