9. Seems nothing else can be done until the judge gets another judges ruling
on whether the Democratic judge should recuse himself.

Pffft!

11. Well, that wasn't much fun so far.
So far it looks like the judge and prosecutor are the ones on trial.

13. While I don't think Judge Perkins
should have recused himself, I can completely understand why he did. Any appearance of potential judicial impropriety in this case can cause a problem down the road. All these things end up before the Texas Supreme Court where the Republicans rule and this case will wind up at the TSC.

16. I don't think Perkins recused himself.
I think he just wants another judge to decide if he should recuse himself. I got the idea that Perkins thinks that this could lead to a requirement for Republicans to only be tried by Republican judges, and vice versa.

15. Motion For Recusal will be heard by a different judge who
will decide if the grounds are adequate to force original judge to recuse himself. Cocksucker DeLay's spurious grounds: that the original judge is Democrat, and DeLay is Repukelican.

Just let the little scum try that in federal court. And he may well be a defendant in federal court, too--when the Abramoff investigation causes his indictment. He won't get anywhere with his spurious motion there.

Meanwhile, if this nonsensical motion is granted, and the original judge is recused, EVERY SINGLE CRIMINAL DEFENDANT IN TEXAS, WHOSE JUDGE IS OF A DIFFERENT POLITICAL PARTY, must file one of these motions.

It's gonna be fun, folks.

BTW, Twatmouth DeLay's smile was looking a little frozen this morning. It is very obvious that he is seething inside. Further proof of this is his initial reactions to the indictments--even a two-year-old couldn't have thrown a bigger tantrum.

So DeLay has delayed the proceedings a bit. GOOD. All the better to make the proceedings reach their height just around NOVEMBER, 2006!

17. Is anybody else listening to this drivel?
Looks like these guys have appointed themselves as the ones to decide if DeLay is guilty or not. I thought a judge and jury were supposed to decide that. Is the trial over yet?

19. The good news is, the JURY will decide it.
So even if Bugboy actually prevails on his spurious motion to change judges, he and his defenders will still have to try to intimidate--oops, I mean, persuade--12 minds, not just one.

23. Except question #1 on the questionnaire will be political affiliation
The way they've been actively trying to taint a jury pool, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they exclusively accept registered Republican, GOP supporting, loyalty oath signing Bush lovers!

24. Maybe so, but Ronnie Earle will get an equal chance to
bump people from the jury.

And if Bugboy keeps that shit-eatin' grin on his face during his trial, the jury will hate him. Rule No. 1: when trying a criminal case, tell client to not laugh/smile in court... it makes the jury think they do not see the crime as serious, and it definitely makes the jury think they are arrogant.

20. Who was that woman who was with DeLay in court?
Must be time to trot out "the wife". (Oops... that's kind of awkward, considering that "the wife" is involved in this...)

The woman must be the person who will change Tom and give him his bottle when the court appearance is over...
