our talented DUers need to help do an up-dated version of "Merry X-mas: War Is Over (If You Want It)." I've seen some Merry Fritzmas lyrics.

13. myyyy fitzmas carol!!!!!!!!!!
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw * away

Fritzmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the bold
Ding dong ding
That is their song
With joyful ring
All caroling

One seems to hear
Indictments of good cheer
From everywhere
nail their asses, thats all we care..

Oh how they pound
gavels in the courts sound
O'er hill and dale
*, cheney,libby,and rove in jail

Gaily they ring
While *'es people sing
sad Songs over their fear
Fritzmas is here

Merry, merry, merry, merry Fritzmas
Merry, merry, merry, merry Fritzmas
On on they send
to prison without end
Their pitiful drone to every home
Dong ding dong ding

fly

36. hark the herald, flippers sing
God rest you merry democrats, let nothing ye dismay
Ye know a warrant has been issued for Tom Delay

Liars in the White House with pants on fire
are all looking for teams of legal counsel to hire
and Bill O'Reilly is talking about plans to retire

Could it be that Cheney is thinking about a house
far, far away from that Crawford Louse?
And Karl Rove who primed the GOP cash flow
has officially become a NO SHOW!

10. I was only six when Nixon resigned
I still remember watching the announcement of the Sad Man, as I called him then. I turned to my mother and said, "Mommy, does he have to quit being President and go to his room for being bad?"

She simply said yes. I said, "Good," and went back to my room to draw pictures. She burst out laughing.

For a week or so, all the grownups seemed drunk. I am more than ready to experience something similar as an adult.

16. I was a bit older than you when he resigned
I was born in Dec. of '66... I remember hating Nixon at that age because the Watergate hearings would be on in the afternoon on all the TV networks, so I could not watch cartoons on TV when I came home from school.

And so began my dislike of Republicans.

11. This year is the 25th anniversary of John's murder...
I often wonder what he would be saying today about what happened in the city he loved, and what he would say about the destruction wreaked by our government in its' aftermath. I don't think anything he would say today would differ in tone from anything he ever said during his life; he had evolved beyond thinking of war as a solution to our problems, and he knew how the government could use war to repress the liberty of the people. And he knew how to get people to think.
He would have been a powerful - and needed - voice for all of us.
I'm crying as I write this. I grew up with the Beatles, one of my earliest memories is their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. I was just turned 5. As I grew up I appreciated John more and more. And then, just when he decided he had something to say again publicly, some asshole killed him.

Imagine all the people
living life at peace
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will live as one

12. Funny, I've been toying with the idea of trying to get this on a
billboard in my community. I've wondered if United for Peace and Justice would consider a campaign to accept donations and trying to put billboards in many communities. Would Yoko have to give permission to revive these types of billboards?

Thanks for posting this.

34. No Justice - No Peace!
Waiting patiently for reality to cacth up with the visions of justice for those warmongers.

Dear Father Fitzmas:loveya:

This year Fitzmas could be overwhelming to me. It started out so small, just one teensy Fitzmas wish for one indictment for the person responsible for outing one of the CIA's undercover elves. As is the custom with undercover elves, they may have corporate jobs that hide the true mission of spreading good cheer and data collection on things that could wipe us all off the planet.

My Fitzmas wishes got a bit bigger when I realized that the underworld's Novakula told everybody about the secret elf and it came from the forces of evil behind the electric fences of the nation's White House. It was very frustrating for the last two Fitzmases to watch and hear the patriotic blather from the forces of evil arrayed against the smallest secret elf. Then WHAM, an anouncement that Fitzmas is going to be just over the top this year. My eyes are huge as I put up my Fitzmas avatar and hear that the best Fitzmas presents are indictments indiviually wrapped and the people getting them are really kinda nervous. The candy conscience canes are a nice touch that go with all the legal bills the republican evildoers are racking up.

Please, Father Fitzmas indict to the best of your ability all of the people who lied, cheated, stole and put our nation at risk stemming from this Bush-league White House. It seems that the evildoers formed an axis of evil with forgeries, lies and it resulted in good people dying. Please make my Fitzmas really the best ever by bringing to justice every last one of the aider and abetters of evildoers. Good elves are counting on you!

A sincere Fitzmas Fan Forever,
Pithy Cherub

48. Hey Fitz! Just Gimme Some Truth!
I’m sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
I’ve had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of hope
Money for dope
Money for rope

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of soap
Money for dope
Money for rope

I’m sick to death of seeing things
From tight-lipped, condescending, mama’s little chauvinists
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth now

I’ve had enough of watching scenes
Of schizophrenic, ego-centric, paranoiac, prima-donnas
All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of soap
It’s money for dope
Money for rope

Ah, I’m sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocrites
All I want is the truth now
Just gimme some truth now

I’ve had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
