Texas Senate cuts off funding for probe of Cisneros

They are finally going to end an 11 year investigation of former Housing Secretary under President Clinton. This investigation was about sex too. He lied about how much he paid his mistress so they had to get to the bottom of that. :eyes:

3. Cisneros was too dangerous & had to be stopped.

The former mayor of San Antonio was a handsome, intelligent graduate of Texas A&M. (For those unacquainted with Texas culture, the history of Aggiedom has NOT been multicultural.) He was considered a rising political star--perhaps on the national level.

Henry did not hide his affair, but let the world know he was in love. After his wife had a baby with a heart defect, Henry ended the affair. He helped support his former lover because she claimed she could not find a job. While being cleared for directing HUD, he didn't tell the FBI how much he was paying her. So he quit HUD & got out of politics. That was his ONLY crime--after 11 years of investigating.
