has an excellent guest from Israel, the Ambassador Ariel Mekel (spelling?) on his program. He seems very honest and is discussing the situation in Israel. I recommend that you listen to this is if you are interested in Israel/Palestinian relationships. He is mentioning that non-Jews may vote and enjoy the protection of the courts and other rights in Israel. He also says that the violence is reported in our media only when it reaches large proportions. The killing of three Israelis, however young and innocent, is not reported here, for example. I am very favorably impressed. He explains that he grew up in Israel in the 1950s and his parents were Holocaust survivors. He explains why he believes the Jewish people need their own nation just as other peoples do. He described the characteristics that Israelis have in common, what makes them a nation and mentions the good education opportunities in Israel. This is a very good Franken segment. I recommend listening to it. I don't know if Franken rebroadcasts segments of his show on his website, but I would like it if he would make this one available. Now the Oy Oy Oy show.
