5. Only thing I ever read was his letters to some little kid he liked.
Don't remember the kids name, but apparently he wrote a letter to the Prez and Reagan took a liking to him and continued corresponding.

16. There are purportedly some
notes he wrote for his radio broadcasts that are alledgedly fairly coherent. (I'm not starting, I'm just saying) But I've have yet to see any transcripts.
Google him and check wikipedia.

17. Well, he played a writer in "This is the Army"
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 01:54 PM by Jose Diablo
"In real life, Reagan joined the Army Air Corps in 1942 but did not see battle: He appeared in several training films instead. In This Is the Army (1943), Reagan played a revue writer. George Murphy, who later became a U.S. senator from California, played his producer father."

Of course I am sure in the times toward the end of his presidency he confused his actor parts with real life. In the end I think, he really believed he had done all those things.

Edit: The saddest thing is, he was probably unaware of what a really big asshole he was. Thats the worst part. He thought he was an OK guy.

19. Actually. . . .
There are many hand written position papers that he penned. He can truly be blamed for the massive growth of conservatism in this country.
