Bush using the Reagan library speech to sell the war--again.
What a tool, "Freedom, Democracy" blech. Mrs. Reagan looks so tiny and she looks very tired, i'm sure Bush's visit is making her weary.

8. I love it when
Jon Stewart imitates him and does his little giggle. He's more like a cartoon character than a president.

4. Did you hear Nancy's opening remarks?
She was relating the story of their last flight from D.C. on Air Force One. "As the champagne glasses were raised, a toast was made - Mission Accomplished, Mr. President!"

You could see facial muscles twitching on the chimp and his partner.

9. well he has to, right?
I mean we can blame september 11th on the presidents who were weak on terror, who cut and ran in the face of violence, leading to a loss of respect and fear of the US in the middle east, right? So he needs to honor the president who refused to give quarter, and stayed the course, in the face of overwhelming odds, refusing to allow terror to dictate US policy in the region.

Reagan would never have abandoned a mission in the region and allowed terrorists to chase the US out of the region, leaving the locals ot a reign of terror and totalitarianism.

12. Firstly, I think that Nancy Reagan should have spoken after the Chimps
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 01:18 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
and secondly, I wish to hell I could see her reaction on tv, that he is using this moment to exploit for his own political agenda.

22. Nancy Looked...
...like she didn't want to be in the same room as Bush. When he was talking to her as someone else was at the podium speaking, she wouldn't look at Bush when she replied to him. And her chair was farther away from his than Laura's was. I think she *definitely* doesn't like him!
