How Fitzgerald could end the suspence. ....He should call Staples.
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 01:32 PM by Armstead
Okay so the country is on pins and needles regarding the status and direction of Fitzgerald's investigation.

He's obviously being meticulous and not wanting to tip his hand before he has everything in place for whatever decisions are made.

But here's one way he could send a signal for all the tea-leaf readers.

If he's planning or inclined to take things further, rather than close up shop with no action, he could just call Staples and order a bunch of file cabinets and desks and other office supplies....He wouldn't saying anything, but it'd be obvious.

Just a stray thought.

2. Just OD'd on the Speculation Game I guess...
It'd be like they used to analyze the power shifts in the Kremlin, based on who was standing necxt to who on the balcony during parades.

6. That's what gave me the idea...
Or maybe he could rent a new DC apartment or join a local health club..

Anything to make clear whether he is planning to return to Chicago soon or not

8. He did the equivalent. He opened a Web site.
He wouldn't do that if he were just folding up shop, as he has stated, without a report.
