Just asking: bush wants the UN to convene for
the reports linking Syria to the assasination of Rafik Hariri.....my question: how many times did they convene the UN for Israel assasinating Palestinian leaders? Note to folks who would scream "anti-semitism"....this is a legitimate question about real world events, not an attempt to bash anyone's religion.

1. They will be pushing for an invasion by the end of the year
or after the 06 elections.

3.  "They" will all be under indictment by then
a major monkey wrench in things indictments are.

2. Why shouldn't the UN say, "Bite me!
We'll think about having a special meeting when you pay your dues, mofo."

4. God, I hope they do!
or at the very least, say "while we're at it, why don't we get together in the Hague and talk about Abu Graib, Guantanamo, etc"

7. I never thought about the many different scenarios that could play out
resulting from Buxh and Bolton's bullying and demands at the UN.

I would think that there are many there that have an axe to grind with this admin.

5. The reports do no such thing.
They don't LINK anyone to ANYTHING.

They SUGGEST that the assassination would have been difficult (and no one is saying impossible) to pull off without Syrian foreknowledge...

6. Apples and oranges
Israel 'assassinated' TERRORIST leaders, not Palestinian ones. Syria has been implicated in the 'assassination' of a LEGITIMATE leader. So your question is faulty.

8. You mean like the Israelis too should be held accountable for their
wrong-doing and holding the Israelis accountable for wrong-doing is not necessarily being anti-Semitic? Well, I'm still a mite peeved that the Israelis blew, was it the U.S.S. Liberty, out of the water killing many of our sailors. Glad I could say that without being deemed anti-Semitic for in this country being anti-Semitic or soft on crime or whatever the RW say liberals are soft on is the kiss of death.

Oh, House of Mica, remember the reasons. Shimmer with the Light of Turtle Island as you stand at the ancient site of the Rechgawank Council Oak. House of Mica shimmer with the light of truth. This is the voice I send.
