Last night she said couldn't make it on the ferry, and it was too late to go. She is on a small island just off of Cancun. I hope she did make it to Cancun.

4. She's on Isla Mujeres, off the coast of Cancun. And I

haven't seen anything from her since 9pm last night. :-(

5. She's in serious trouble there

since Cancun will take the hit in another hour or so (according to the Weather Channel). Offshore cannot be good. Hope she's OK.

stayed on Isla Mujeres. As my husband said, prior to this storm it was a sandbar. :-(

9. I hope you're right; I see where you are, my dad and his

honey are in Ft. Meyers, and don't plan on leaving. Though he did tell me this a.m. he'll go to a shelter if they're evacuated, so that makes me feel a bit better. Stay safe!
