Maybe he should take a bit more beef with him.
Rumsfeld can be pretty imposing, and Chertoff appears straight out of "Tales Of The Crypt". He could enlist Tom Delay to join in the arm twisting, but he's on bond and should probably keep his temper in check.

Were it not a reminder of the past, he could put together a team of seemingly rational cheerleaders.
He could ressurect Powell to present a power point plea for co-operation. Karen Hughes could add to the "compassion" of his liberating endeavors, and Condi can bring home the urgency of action.

I suspect instead, that the "leader of the free world" will count on a stripped down squad of Bolton and General Buxh.

They'll swagger in like they own the place and tell the world what they're going to do about Syria. If they get a less than desirable response they can point fingers and accuse them of being a bunch of "unpatriotic liberals". Maybe Bolton can bitch slap the "French weenies" to remind them that we pulled their asses out of the fire in WWII.
This will send a message to the others to "step into line or join the terrorists".
