1. Not with our troops!

If there is to be action in Syria, some other country has to send their troops. We have no business stretching our resources that thin. We are already living above our means when it comes to military equipment and actions. We simply cannot afford it. Gas is already too expensive. They had better be planning to use diplomatic means and use them as long as is needed. I want to see the evidence showing Syria's involvement in the assassination of the Lebanese leader, and I want it brought to an objective court or commission that will determine how reliable it is and whether it meets the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard (I understand that to be as much as 99% beyond a doubt) that applies in our criminal courts. Our guys in the White House have been unable to recognize "faulty intelligence" before. The charges against Syria may be well founded, but I want to see the foundation for them before we send troops.
