An update on my horrible day in Language Arts (L.A)
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 05:16 PM by MiniMandaRuth
Remember that post a few days ago? Turns out some girl, who, for some reason, doesn't like me, put that boy up to do it. Turns out she'd go out with him if he did it.

I found that out this morning in band while I was putting away my saxomophone. Some girl who plays flute told me about what they had heard about it. I put two and two together and figured it out.

So, I went through the day thinking about this. At last, in the locker room, i was confronted. I was putting on my P.E shirt when Little Miss marches up to me with two of her cronies. I'm up against the lockers, staring at them.

The girl, let's call her B, smirks and begins to rattle on about how cool that boy is, and how much I'm missing out on.

Me: Oh, sorry... Since when was I interested in him?

B: Like you could ever get some.

Me: Heh. Tell your 'boyfriend' his queer eye needs a little help if he needs you to tell him what's cool and what's not.

B: *Dumbfounded*

Me: And I know why my shirt is better than yours.

B: Why?

Me: I actually got something to fill it with.

They all blushed bright red. I mean, like beets.

The whole entire locker room began to howl with laughter. It was amazing. Those three girls always march around like they own the darn place. They just walked away and huddled in the corner for the rest of the period.

I think I pretty much put them where they belong, and what they've made me feel like.

Plus, I like the response.

Thanks to everyone that gave me advice! i wore my Clash shirt today, my 'Come to Brighton' shirt yesterday, and my John Lennon 'Give Peace a Chance' the day before that!

You all gave me some more courage!
:hi: :pals: :applause:

1. Don't forget the "Nerds" shirt.

If you like it, wear it. Then tell the creeps that you don't care what they think.

BTW, kudos for you. You handled it splendidly.

4. It was awesome.
The one teacher with the 'No, I did not Vote 4 Bush' arm bracelet gave that boy a little 'talking to' about people and their rights. Apparently, he also didn't go to light on the 'sit down and shut up if you don't like something about someone else' prospect.

I still need to wear my Zelda shirt, and then my Who shirt again.

9. tell the creeps that you don't care what they think- BEST ADVICE EVER
I was on the recieving end of a lot of crap until the realization came that I didn't care what anyone else thought about me or anything else for that matter.

My life changed dramactically after that.

7. I hope that this can give 'The Little Guy' a morality boost.
Actually, once you put them in their place, they really don't bother you anymore, unless you get the really bad kind. But once they see that you can stand up against three or more of them... they let you be. They always count on being cool. Once YOU embarrass them, they let you be.

14. Sine jerk started harassing me in L.A class about my shirt.
Pretty much it was the same crap over and over again: "You look stupid, don't wear that again, you're gay"

Pretty dumb, actually, but I got pretty upset. it was so stupid.

21. Good for you!
If they cap on you look a them, smile and tell them "oh, you REALLY thought your opinion mattered....that's so....sweet"
believe this, with rare exception they are far more insecure than you. The only way to mask it is to pick on someone else.
You're definitely a flower in this garden of life!

I often say things like that to people, things like:

Well, next time I'm shopping for shirt/skirt/pants, I'll think of you.
