Yay! We Convict The Criminals! That means WE ARE IN CONTROL, |
|
Right? Who Is? Name a Democrat that will pull out of Iraq immediately, and Dennis K doesn't count.
Let's say this pans out. Leaders go down. 06 means Dem sweep. Who is a Dem that is saying STOP THE WAR, that is in power? I don't hear it.
Or are we to wait until 2008 when the fucking Democratic Party *might* decide it's a bad idea to run on a *Pro-War* stance?
Just asking.

We have found the enemy and they are us, if you will.

THIS IS POLITICS! WE ARE ALL HYPOCRITES. BUT DEMS NEED TO BE TENACIOUS! I HATE THE NEO-CONS. However, I give them credit. ... Why can't the DEMS in the House/Senate announce a "Contract With America"? Newt did it in 94. Although it wasn't legally binding, it became part of the language as the Republicans started owning the messaging. SOOOO, let's get something going here. We don't need to re-invent the wheel! I saw posts about Harry Reid dropping new the new slogan "America can do better". It really doesn't get me turned on. I think Reid needs to stir the pot up a Democratic version of a "Contract with America". After all, it really boils down to the perception of what party has the integrity and vision.. Looking forward to keeping this post going!
ROCK ON!!

Maybe Durbin, Waxman, DeFazio, Frank, Saunders, etc.
I could go on, but do I have to?
We won't know who's in power until 2007. We'll have to see.

5. Do you really think it's not foolish to worry about 2008 when... |
|
...there's so much that can and will happen before that. 2006 for instance?? Focus please.

Tell me please what the Democrats are "focusing" on?
If it's not THE WAR they are stupid as my neighbor's dog.

Your "doing something" has gotten you where?
Where did I whine? You mean pointing out how weak the Democrats are? Oh, my. How is that whining? They are supposed to WORK? Too bad so many of them DON'T.
And spare me the "playing into R's hands by crittin' the D's" lecture.
They have ample ammunition of Corruption to run on.
I want a voice like Mario or JFK, not a wimpy ass "if things were done wrong...blahbedtyblahblah"
Grow up. This is not high school football.

We've just had a POTUS election. We can't be in permanent campaign season. That's a major part of this country's problem. We're always running, running, running.
One thing at a time, please.
First we have to get the current bunch out of the White House. At this point it doesn't matter if more Republicans will take their place. This bunch has got to go regardless.
Then, sometime next year, probably around springtime, we will begin to go into campaign mode for the congressional elections. We should continue to ignore POTUS while we focus on taking back congress for the people.
Then, in 2007 we can focus on getting a responsible agenda through congress to repair the severe damage done to country.
Finally, around the end of 2007 we may know some more about who will be leading the Dems to victory in 2008. In the meantime, we've got a lot of work to do.
Oh, and by the way, I am also wondering who it will be. I like Al Gore right now. But any of the other people I mentioned would be okee-dokee.

9. With all due respect, that is just horseshit. |

This piece of shit called Shrub is at an alltime low and so is his freaking Party. If Democrats had any fight in them to actually pursue their agenda (which at one time I liked) would be to hit this fucker while he is down. The economy. The working poor. Deficits. Shit, I don't need to tell DUers what the problems are.
The big fat glaring thing is THE WAR! We need to stop this carnage. If no Democrat is available until 2007 to give their opinion on this fucking occupation, then I hereby resign my vote EVER for a Democrat.
I'm not alone.

Since no Democrat can be President for at least two years, and that no Democrat can be elected to President for something over three years, I would say that your question of which Dem would get us out of Iraq now has been more or less rendered moot.
I responded with my best shot, and you, acting like a fucking jerk, jumped down my throat.
Fuck off.
