especially the nature of the indictments... this is a bad take on the Saturday Night Massacre.

Lets wait, it is starting to look a lot like fitzmas

39. Probably
But I can't completely agree with saying it must be untrue, because I don't think truth and untruth are mutually exclusive in the realm of wild stories.

I agree this story is likely not true, but I disagree with your premise that just because they say it, it must be untrue. Sometimes any wild story will do, true or untrue. Just saying.

I mean to say, I'm not trying to start any arguments or strongly disagree with any point made here. But, to use another example, when the stories about the torture first started coming out, they sounded absolutely impossible too. And, now we know it was allowed at the highest levels, and we know it included the most brutal forms of torture, leading to death in some cases. When I consider how bloody that is, really is the worst case scenerio, no matter how well we were spoon-feed the information, carefully managed for our consumption, a little at a time, I don't discount a single thing until I'm more sure it's not true.

For this story, I just refused to get worked up, too much. Because we'll know soon enough, either way, true or not.

21. Well he does think he is a crowned King. They're going about it the
wrong way. They need to tell Bush that God has recalled him from his current duty. Bush is now needed in other ways...like going to prison and helping to convert the prison population. Don't mind the outfit. It is just so he will fit in. Put the message on his Ipod and have it play over and over.

If Flocco tells you the sky is blue-- look out the window to make sure.

else.

Unfortunately his work givea breaking news on stories you can't read anywhere else a bad name.

Does anyone want to defend Greg Szymanski? I'd love to believe his stories, and I'd love to believe Flocco's. But they don't seem to check out.

36. Good grief, this guy is wacked, a disinformation agent or both.
Edited on Sat Oct-22-05 06:35 AM by Garbo 2004
The previously atrociously bad sources, Thomas Heneghan and Stewart Webb are the sources for this? Why am I not surprised. Recall they were the ones who came up with the "Chicago grand jury indicts everyone in the Administration AND Tony Blair" story.

And then before that there was the massacre in Chicago subway story. What was it, a shoot out between UK intelligence agents and French intelligence in a Chicago subway? It was the French that came to our rescue foiling an evil UK plot as I recall. (In honor of the occasion Freedom Poodles were renamed French Poodles by the AKC.)

Whoever writes this stuff should do a TV series.

Now my recollection that one cannot indict a sitting president. Which is why being named an "unindicted co-conspirator" is what at most could happen at this point to Bush. But Flocco's speculating about the law or the military (oh, yeah Bush "revoked" posse comitatus, remember?) going out to California to put the cuffs on Bush? First he'd have to be removed from office and then we could book him, Dano. Dang those pesky details keep tripping up Flocco & Co.

While suspense is building of course on the outcome of the grand jury investigation, I'd bet Fitz's website going online Friday is what triggered this story.

(and ok so I made up the stuff about the poodles. LOL)

37. Just hope it isn't true
You said this can't be true, and I hope you're right.

We'll know soon enough. No point jumping up and down about it, imho.

Sadly, there are so many crazy things going on, sometimes the whacked out stories only sound whacked out while they're on the fringe sites. We like to forget that fringe sites aren't above using the TRUTH when it's wild enough. That's the thought I get, when I see the reference to this site attacked, when all you said was "it can't be true".

Outing a CIA spy sounded like a novel. Katrina relief abuses sounded too awful to be true. Miers nomination seemed to come straight from TheOnion. Who the hell knows? If that story reflects a legal possibility, it should not be discounted either because it sounds unreasonable or because it originates from a fringe site. Those just...aren't guarantees of illegitimacy anymore. Not anymore.

Just saying. We know what these people are capable of, which now seems to be anything they can get away with.

38. This is the part I really liked though
>intelligence sources told TomFlocco.com that the military or U.S. marshals should arrest Bush, Gonzalez, Cheney and others immediately for their criminal acts in keeping explosive espionage, obstruction and perjury indictments hidden from the American people, all of which affects U.S. national security.<

If it were true and this happened it would all be over so very quickly. Lets see who would we like to step up to the plate and take over in the White House as surely there will be NO cabinet members left?
