I wish for one day, Fucker Carlson could be black in the USA...
or any person of color in the USA.

Just watched Bill Maher and watching Spike Lee have to argue with that little piss ant makes me want to cry. That in these times, with evidence like Farenheit 9/11, the robbery of 2000's election through poor black communities, the Tuskegee experiment, pre civil rights and post civil rights, the comments of that racist idiot about aborting black babies...

What the fuck does he need to see to take the glint of those retarded rose colored glasses he continues to wear.

Thank you Bill Maher and Thank you Spike Lee for standing up to him and telling him what a total right wing sponge head he is.

If he could spend one day in this country, as a woman or man of color I bet he would have a very different impression of the issues he so vehemently defends.

8. You can still have that little crush on fucker, now its just got an "edge"
to it. You know what I mean, instead of a little caress here and there until he moans in delight, it's a little torture here and there until he moans in agony. I used to have fantasies about bending him over a chair and making that bow tie spin. My fantasies still entail the bow tie, only I'm pulling it very tightly around his neck...

He's never been the same since John Stewart made him his beyatch.

10. Yeah he is a disgrace to humanity
you know my wife and I lived in the inner city and we voted in 2004, we stood in line with afro-americans for over 2 hours, because there wasn't enough voting machines in afro-american areas. My mother who lives in the burbs was done voting 15 minutes with no wait and no line. Just to see our votes thrown away, then this dweeb has the nerve to say everythings fair and equal between the races. Its funny how it takes police an hour to check out gun shots in the inner city, but out in the sticks the average response time is under 15 minutes, yeah protect and serve. Or how about coming home at 11pm get pulled over 2 blocks from your home only to have a cop come up and say ''you don't belong around here''. BTW, we are a white couple, our son was the only white kid in his school. He was the third highest grade earner in the school. We have seen it all as far as how helpful the government handles people in the inner cities and if whites were treated as afro-americans are, there wouldn't be no right wing.

11. I don't think the levees were blown up...
but, geez, I honestly don't blame anyone for believing...most especially blacks or those who lived in places like the 9th ward.

Looking at the regime since 2000 I honestly wouldn't be surprised at the lengths they would go.

I would've held Tucker down for Spike to take a swing at. He was a complete ass.

I agree--
I don't think that the levees were blown up either--but I totally understand why some may suspect they were. I don't think it is far fetched at all...

I didn't really get where the female panelist was coming from. Spike was justified in being angry and making the argument he did.

She bugged me a bit...

I couldn't really put my finger on what it was that was bugging me about her. But that was it. She didn't seem to have a perspective or a point of view.

Other than that brief moment when she decided to compliment Spike on his film, while simultaneously putting him down for speaking up to Carlson.

:wtf:

She made me want to shake her and say, 'who's side are you on?' Damn!

56. I agree too.
I don't think they were blown up, they were neglected. Why were they neglected? Well, that is the real question! However, it is very understandable that some, especially African-Americans, would think the government sabotaged the levees. I mean seriously, we have an entire forum here dedicated to those who think that 9-11 was "an inside job." If people can believe that, then why hot the "levee sabotage?" And after seeing stories about contractors getting no-bid contracts and polls about whether to rebuild or move NOLA, I think people have the right to be suspicious!

I'm white, but my "Lead-In" was going to be Tucker Carlson IS REALLY a Bow Tie!!

Maher's show tonight was probably one of his BEST Ever! Blew me away! I couldn't believe what came out of Carlson's mouth! Especially when he was talking about the Principal or Head of The Prom canceling the prom for this year!! What insight this guy has!

He said the guy who canceled it was JEALOUS of the all the kids who were having MORE fun than he was and that's why he canceled it!!

I DIDN'T think ANYONE thought that way!

And talk about RACISM!!! This guy is OFF THE PLANET!! What's even more ridiculous is that he has his OWN program!! Well, maybe THAT'S not so bad, because if he talks like this on a regular basis then perhaps it will show SOME Wing Nuts just HOW STUPID they sound!

UNBELIEVABLE, and Bill could hardly contain his REAL feelings on air. He came as close as to poking him in the eyeballs without taking physical action!!

If there ANY Freepers out there lurking here at D.U., well TAKE A LESSON!!

I can see from the history of this country, where those who believe that are coming from.

I believe in the 20s flood in Louisiana they flooded a poor black neighborhood intentionally to save the rich districts from flooding.

26. So disturbing that that crap is still going on...
The monumental thing about Rodney King wasn't that it happened--as it happened everyday all over Los Angeles and LA County and beyond. The momentous thing was that it was caught on tape.

One of my gf's in hs, nursed her bf's wounds weekly. His family owned a chain of bakeries in the community. He drove a Camero in hs. They (the police) assumed he had to be a drug dealer, and frequently pulled him over, harassed him, and kicked his ass...

:puke:
It makes me sick thinking about it. Very sorry this happens in Los Altos, too...

It was my first reaction until I listened more closely! I'll have to watch a re-run and I'll write it down. A case of bad timing where Bill interjected in between the exchange.

Carlson was more out of line than I've EVER seen him. I think he turned many, many people off tonight (if that's even possible). He showed how truly clueless and arrogant he is. I loved it when Bill & Spike talked about some of the things that the government has done to blacks. He owes Spike Lee an aplogy. He was yelling at him. He disgusts me. I'm takin' a xanax!

his choice of neck wear is not one of them.

And if the truth be told, I am not fond of ties in any shape, form or fashion. I grudgingly admit they may have their place, but generally not around my neck. It must be a subdued psychic reaction to being hung in a previous life.
