I'm watching "The Siege"...
Edited on Sat Oct-22-05 12:48 AM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...with Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington on the History Channel right now. Bruce W. just finished addressing reporters about the imposition of Marshall Law and how he intends to seal off and then "squeeze" Brooklyn to ferret out the terrorists. Talk about a crystal ball look into the near future---it's fucking eerie.

1. Yeah, shortly after 9/11 I re-watched it and
was shocked by the similarities. Made me wonder about the path the country would take, and unfortunately that's also been similar.

3. Yes, it's almost as if the bush regime used that movie as a template on
how to create a reichstag and benefit from it afterwards.

4. That's MARTIAL law, not marshall.
Marshall is an old west sheriff, Martial is military.

:)

7. "The Siege" is on....the HISTORY channel....
I've totally snapped now, about that stupid channel.

First, they pretend that history didn't happen before 1933 and Hitler came to power....and now they're showing films not even KIND of connected to actual history?

WTF kind of channel is that? Who the hell is running things over there? So much potential, wasted. How embarrassing.
