If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit... |
|
..someone once said. That is the contradiction of this Administration. Their base is as dazzled by their brilliance as most Democrats are baffled by their bullshit. It's in the eye of the beholder, I suppose? Where some might see a born-again, honest Christian man, others might see an Elmer Gantry, flim-flam, bullshitting used-car salesman. Which do you see?

1. I see ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag |
|
and I don't want to be too close when the bag gets soggy. I'd like to see any of the "leadership" in this administration try to start life over as in the movie Trading Places.

3. What's that song from Chicago (I think)? |
|
"Give 'em the old Razzle Dazzle" - that pretty much sums up this administration. It takes a perceptive mind to see through the illusion. The people these sociopaths are manipulating are often borderline personality disordered or with similar problems. They're emotionally childlike, black-or-white in perspective, control-oriented, vaguely paranoid, and ignorant -- the usual personality traits one finds in hardline fundamentalist religion. They created the whole Wingnut Industrial Complex to flood the media.
Meanwhile us kids are pointing out that the emperor is sky clad (and not for a good reason).

5. I don't think the neocons' supporters think they're brilliant, either. |
|
But they hate all the same people. Well, enough of the same people at least.
If you take a look at some of the right-wing swag, one theme pops up continually: a desire to make liberals angry. Limbaugh's "Club Gitmo" shirts are just one example, but I've literally seen hundreds of others.
I think alot of the Bush Administration's supporters simply hate *us* so much, they'll cheer for anyone that makes us angry; even if that person is seriously fucking them over.

6. I see a reckless, drunken, brain-damaged burnout... |
|
...who was not born the sharpest tool in the shed in the first place. Getting hammered, fried, baked, and wasted all day every day for over 20 years did not help things at all.

7. The whole bush crew is anything but brilliant. They are the most... |
|
highly overrated bunch of misfits this country has ever had. Karl Rove is no genius, he is just willing to roll in the mud and smear any opponent with lies. That doesn't take genius, just no conscience or morals.

8. I see corporatists slowly increasing control of our government. Neocons |
|
and repugs are expendable when advancing corporatism.
Even if * and his cabal were convicted and sentenced to life in prison, the laws favorable to corporatism implemented during the * administration will remain in place.
If Miers is confirmed, then she and Roberts guarantee SCOTUS decisions favorable to corporatism.
