What is with the delusional bush supporters calling Washington Journal? |

WTF is going on here? You cannot tell me this is at true sampling of all the callers.

I noticed that on open phones this morning, it started with a republican, and then the dem line had a problem, went on to another republican call, and later, ended with one. I wasn't keeping track, but it seemed like many more right wingers this morning.
Maybe the dems are all sleeping in, it is Saturday afterall.

9. Does your CNN reception get bad when the repubs are in trouble? |
|
It always seems that when it is bad news for the republicans we have horrible reception on only that one channel. I've noticed it that it has been happening since before the last election.

3. it is not a sampling from either side. 'self-selection' is the term used |
|
in research. It's limitations is that it is biased.

4. I think that the RWers are instructed to call in whenever *'s poll #s drop |
|
or there is more bad news for the administration. Sometimes the hosts beg for GOP and/or support * callers because so few are calling in and they need to balance the Dem calls w/ * calls. For instance, the other day there were as many calls on the independent/other line as on the Dem and GOP lines combined. Usually, there are very few if any "other" callers. Of course all of the other callers supported *. The RWers that do call are the nuttiest of the lot, the true believers in * and the coming rapture. :(

6. The weekend always brings them out! |
|
Perhaps "the delusional" is more correct. It seems that Saturday and Sunday always see the wackiest callers, though.

for their side
Washington Journal used to be a lot better than it is, because real people called, but now, it's mainly morons.

My favorite time is open phones. I find it fascinating that I can tell a caller's affiliation in their first few words, mostly based on dialect and especially anger in the voices of the pugs. Facts and pugs...not a good mix.
