What day does the Grand Jury end?
Is it Monday, the 24th? Is that D-day for Libby and Rove? Will the prosecutor ask for an extension of some sort? Can he do that?

4. Fitzgerald has the power of Attorney General
in this investigation. The only person who can fire him is Bush and since Bush is one of the targets of the investigation, he won't dare. It's too late.

2. I'm thinkin' Wednesday,
but I'd bet it's going to be extended.

Too much seems to be opening up to close it down.

5. The GJ term ends 10/28. They usually meet mon, wed & fri.
Since Fitz launched his web site, FOR THIS CASE, yesterday, I doubt the GJ will be extended. Historicaly, as a prosecutor in Ill, he posted information including indictments on his we site. With that in mind, I look for announcements Mon or Wed. Rarely does a prosecutor wait until the last day of the GJ.

7. Because there may be some last minute thing they are needed
for. Some smal loose end. They always try to allow for something to go wrong.
